The global village of Venice, CA converges for a day at the ocean. Those who call this seaside community home are a colorful cast of characters: actors and activists, body builders and gangbangers, hippies and the homeless, merchants and musicians, surfers and eccentrics. Venice is far from harmonious, but the sparks of both conflict and creativity seem to be generated by the same sources - diversity, a passion for self-expression, and a search for identity.
