Fish and Poinsettia have created imaginary lives that provide meaning and purpose to their existence. The two are drawn together when they move to neighboring apartments in a building owned by the free-spirited Mrs. Muldoon. Stumbling over obstacles this unlikely pair finds love and fulfillment in a reality that finally transcends their fantasies.
