Donald Chandler, a snobbish restaurateur lives in the lap of luxury until his wife leaves him high and dry on the brink of bankruptcy. Stripped of the title to his prized restaurant, Donald weighs suicide. In an ironic twist of fate that same day, his gardener wins a record-breaking lottery and comes to Donald with an unusual business proposition. In exchange for a loan, Donald must marry his sister allowing her to get her green card.
