Billie Golden is a struggling cabaret singer with a vivid imagination and visions of a lush life spent singing in glamorous nightclubs. Torn between dreams and the reality of her life, an old high school heartthrob, now a successful lawyer, comes back into her life offering almost everything she desires. But when she meets a bohemian musician, she is forced to choose between the two men and a life of luxury or a life filled with music.
