Dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people, the festival helps to fulfill their dreams in the world of film by providing net proceeds to enrich film programs within Palm Beach County high schools, colleges and universities. The festival continues to make Palm Beach County a world class outlet for filmmakers, providing the community with film seminars and an array of films that may not otherwise be available here. The 7th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival will take place April 11-18, 2002. Screenings of American and foreign independent films, documentaries, shorts and Large Format films will provide entertainment for all ages. Films will be shown at various theater venues from Boca Raton to Jupiter providing all Palm Beach County residents a convenient location to attend the festival. In addition, parties with filmmakers will offer the community a chance to discuss their films in a casual and fun setting.
