April 3-10, 2014
Schedule of Events

Thursday, April 3

Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Cinemark Palace 20, 3200 Airport Road, Boca Raton FL 33431

BELLE, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Emily Watson, Tom Felton, Sam Reid and Tom Wilkinson, is inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle (Mbatha-Raw), the illegitimate mixed race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral. Raised by her aristocratic great-uncle Lord Mansfield and his wife, Belle's lineage affords her certain privileges, yet the color of her skin prevents her from fully participating in the traditions of her social standing. Left to wonder if she will ever find love, Belle falls for an idealistic young vicar's son bent on change who, with her help, shapes Lord Mansfield's role as Lord Chief Justice to end slavery in England. Talent from the film expected to attend.

Opening Night festivities continue as guests head "upstairs" to the Premier Level to Bogart's Bar & Grille where they will enjoy specialty Tito's Handmade Vodka cocktails and a sampling of delicacies from our friends at Bogart's.

McKay returns to Palm Beach after premiering his award-winning documentary Broadway: The Golden Age, which won at PBIFF 10 years ago, and this year will have a very special early sneak preview of his new film Broadway: BEYOND the Golden Age, due to be released in the Fall of 2014.
