Filthy Rich
In Palm Beach, Florida, raising money for charity is the number one social activity. With such a rich history of giving, one would think the residents of West Palm Beach, one of the poorest societies in America, would reap the benefits. While examining the striking dichotomy between the ultra rich of Palm Beach, and the poor residents of West Palm Beach, filmmaker Mark Vincent asked the biggest names in the Palm Beach social circle to throw a Gala for a homeless shelter in their backyard. Filthy Rich is a controversial glimpse at a sub-culture that goes to great lengths to promote itself as the most generous society in the world.
