Home Of The Giants
A classic tale of friendship and basketball seen through the eyes of Robert ‘Gar’ Garland, an aspiring journalist in his junior year of high school. Gar's story depicts the thrill and intensity of high school championship basketball in the Midwest, where basketball is not simply another varsity sport but rather a way of life. After Gar participates in a botched theft at the urging of his best friend, Gar must question his beliefs about friendship, basketball and life.
