Samira only lives to find a husband. Following her marriage to a widowed and childless farmer, Samira discovers that her husband is impotent and that he married her to keep up with social conventions. When the lack of affection and sexual interest from her husband become unbearable, Samira turns to her young nephew Farouk. Samira's situation worsens once the affair is discovered.
