| The good man of the title, looks like an ordinary Australian 'bloke'. A farmer from northern New South Wales, but his is an extraordinary story. Fourteen years ago, his pregnant girlfriend had a massive stroke which left her incurably quadriplegic, with significant neurological impairment. They married and shortly after have two children. Life on the farm is tough and they desperately need a second income. This is an extraordinary story of love, commitment, the uniquely Australian culture of country people and a resilience that seems to know no bounds. |
