The Palm Beach International Film Festival is delighted to welcome you as a member of the 2009 Starlet Committee!

This year, the Festival is seeking dynamic and social individuals like you to help us promote and generate excitement about the Festival to your friends, contacts and associates.

The 14th Annual Palm Beach International Film Festival takes place April 23-27 and will include five nights of exciting parties and independent film screenings from around the world. Named one of the 'Top Ten Destination Film Festivals in the World,' by MovieMaker magazine, the Festival is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization supporting film programs in local schools, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of future filmmakers by helping them fulfill their dreams to one day work in the world of film.

We are simply hoping to 'spread the word' about the Festival through some of our area's most influential trend-setters and taste-makers.YOU!

Commitment to Education

The Palm Beach International Film Festival (PBIFF) is a not for profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of future filmmakers. To date, over one million dollars of festival proceeds have been donated to area school’s film and television programs in the forms of grants and scholarships. Year-round activities provided by PBIFF to the over 2600 students currently enrolled in these programs include seminars, workshops and “hands-on” experience with filmmakers and professionals from all areas of the industry. The climax of student activities is the Student Showcase of Films, held during the annual week long film festival. Here, these young artists are the focus. Student filmmakers from high school, community college and university levels enter their work in competition for scholarship money and the chance to have their film shown on the “big screen” during the festival.
