2008 Winners

The Award for Best Feature Film went to Cristiano Bortone's "Rosso Como il Cielo (Red Like the Sky.)"

The Award for Best Director of a Feature Film also went to Cristiano Bortone for "Rosso Como il Cielo (Red Like the Sky.)"

The Features Jury awarded a special Jury Prize to Lahcen Zinoun's "Oud Al Ward (The Lost Beauty.)"

The Best Performance Award went to the ensemble cast of "Kings." The cast was led by Colm Meaney, Donal O’Kelly, Brendan Conroy, Donncha Crowley, Barry Barnes, Seán O’Tarpaigh and Peadar O’Treasaigh.

Best Documentary was awarded to the de Lauzanne Xavier's "D'Une Seule Voix (With One Voice)" which was a World Premiere.

A Special Jury Prize was given to Suzanne Chisholm's "Saving Luna."

The award for the Best Short Film went to Shalini Kantayya’s “A Drop of Life,” a World Premiere.

Audience Favorite Awards went to;

In the Feature category Lynn Roth's "The Little Traitor" starring Alfred Molina took home the prize. Jody Lambert's "Of All Things" won for Audience favorite documentary and Rory Kindersley's "Slingers" was the favorite short film.
